🌿 What we do

Shwapnopuron Organization is a non-political voluntary organisation. We run a range of activities in service of people, education, skills development and social awareness.

Our notable activities:

• 📚 Education and skills-development work
• 🏆 Organising olympiads, quizzes and other competitions
• 🎓 Seminars, workshops and career-guidance programmes
• 🤝 Voluntary and community-service work
• 🧠 Suicide-prevention awareness work
• 🩸 Running a donor network and helping collect blood
• 🌱 Tree planting and environmental awareness programmes
• ❤️ Standing beside the helpless and the underprivileged
• 📢 Running social-awareness campaigns
• 🕌 Running religious, cultural and humanitarian initiatives

১. Discipline & conduct

• The organisation's good name and standing must always be preserved.
• Every member, guest and member of the public must be treated politely, respectfully and cordially.
• Disorderly or improper conduct, or anything that damages the organisation's image, is not acceptable.

২. Duties & participation

• Assigned duties must be carried out on time and in good faith.
• Attend meetings, training, social activities and events as far as you can.
• If you cannot attend for any reason, inform the person responsible in advance.

৩. Monthly subscription

• Every member must pay a monthly subscription of 40 (forty) taka.
• Monthly subscriptions pay for the organisation's humanitarian, social and administrative work.
• Subscriptions left unpaid for a long time without good reason may put a membership under review.

৪. Confidentiality

• Internal information, plans or decisions must not be disclosed outside without permission.

৫. Social media

• The organisation's name, logo or identity must not be used for personal, political or commercial ends.
• Do not post or comment on social media in ways that damage the organisation's image.

৬. A spirit of volunteering

• Every task for the organisation must be carried out in a spirit of volunteering.
• The organisation's interest must come before personal interest.

৭. Dress & identification

• The prescribed dress code or T-shirt must be worn at official activities.
• If an ID card is issued to you, it must be used.

৮. Membership

• Missing three important meetings or activities in a row without reason may bring a show-cause notice.
• Taking part in nothing for a long stretch may make a membership Inactive.

৯. Breaches of discipline

• Where a breach of discipline, financial irregularity, misconduct or action against the organisation's interest is proved, membership will be suspended or cancelled by decision of the executive committee.
